Bangkok - Foreign Minister Noppadon Pattama met Germany’s foreign minister in Berlin, saying German businessmen expressed concerns over Thai politics.

Noppadon claimed that German businessmen had to delay their investment in Thailand due to the political situation here.

He said the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) demonstrators might not know they damaged the country as foreign press broadcast the protest news worldwide.

Noppadon asked the protesters to relocate to somewhere else so as not to cause the traffic problem.

He added that the demonstrators had to end the protest and should not cause any violence if they loved this country.

Noppadon warned the leaders of the PAD should not exploit the people to attain their political goal.

The foreign minister revealed Germany and Thailand approved the joint operational plan for study, train and logistics system.

German government promised to find scholarships for the youths in the south to help them learn other things apart from the religion.

An MoU was also signed to give help and reduce the gap between the old and new Asean members in terms of education, human resources and competitiveness enhancement.
