Bangkok - The head of each household was very upset with the lese majeste news, according to the ABAC Poll.
ABAC University surveyed 2,396 respondents concerning daily news and household’s economic condition.
Respondents in Bangkok, Chonburi, Chiang Mai, Khon Kaen and Phuket were surveyed during May 22-29.
96.2% of the respondents kept up with the daily news in the past 30 days.
95.3% were saddened by the lese majeste news the most while 94.4% by China’s earthquake.
90.8% were sad about Myanmar’s Cyclone Nargis while 84.3% about Thais’ quarrel.
83.9% were upset about sluggish economy and 80.4% about soaring product prices.
