Bangkok - Bagnkokians did not believe Samak government would be able to solve the corruption and southern unrest problem. Interior Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung was the least favorite minister.
50% of respondents were satisfied with the new cabinet while 35% were not and 15% had no opinion.
Respondents had most confidence in Deputy PM and Commerce Minister Mingkwan Saengsuwan, Deputy PM and Industry Minister Suwit Khunkitti, and Defence Minister and PM Samak Sundaravej respectively.
Commerce Minister Mingkhwan Saengsuwan also topped the favorite minister list while Interior Minister Chalerm Yoobamrung was at the bottom of the list.
Respondents had confidence in the government’s international recognition, economic and drugs problem solving. But they did not think the government would be able to deal with corruption and southern unrest problem.
They also expressed most concern over the performance of Finance, Interior, Defence and Commerce Ministry respectively.
Bangkokians wanted the government to solve economic problem the most.
