Bangkok - 66% of Thai people were satisfied with the government’s six-month stimulus package, and the LPG price freeze touched people’s heart the most, according to the poll.

Suan Dusit Rajabhat University surveyed people in Bangkok and provinces today.

66.75% and 66.42% of the respondents in Bangkok and provinces agreed to the government’s six-month measures.

Respondents mostly supported the LPG price freeze in the household sector.

Bangkokians liked the oil excise tax cut the most while rural people were happy with the LPG price freeze.

For those who earned less than 10,000 baht per month, they liked the free bus policy the most.

But people earning more than 10,000 baht per month seemed to be content with the LPG price freeze in the household sector.

51.43% thought the living condition would be better.

Up to 45.38% said the government’s stimulus package was only the short-term measures and would reduce people’s burdens a little.

They also said the government was not sincere to solve the problem and launched the measures just because it wanted to gain popularity.
