Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Most of Thai people said corruption was a common thing in business, according to ABAC Poll.
74 percent of the respondents thought corruption was part of business running whereas 25.3 percent opposed corruption.
Most respondents were civil servants, state enterprise employees, private firms’ employees, business owners, farmers, housewives as well as students.
1,362 respondents in 17 provinces nationwide were surveyed on May 6.
More Thais strictly led their lives under the concept of self-sufficiency economy compared to figures in March.
32.4 percent said they did not practice such concept much.
As for product buying, quality was emphasized the most (89%), followed by price (82.4%), and convenience in product/service buying (64.8%).
