Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Civil servants had to be politically neutral and work their best to cope with heated political situation, according to a poll.
34.62 percent of the respondents thought civil-service employees needed not to take any political side during the current political situations.
26.92 percent wanted the civil servants to work attentively and did their best, according to the Suan Dusit Poll.
The Democratic Alliance Against Dictatorship (DAAD) has rallied for a week, announcing their victory to prevent the Abhisit government from entering the Government House.
The red shirts are waiting for the court’s injunction since the court yesterday told the anti-government protesters to open the gate to allow officials to do their duty.
DAAD plans to further appeal to the court’s verdict.
Natthawut Saikua, one of DAAD’s leader, said the red shirts would move more aggressively to bring down the government.
This is in line with the poll saying that 43.18 percent thought civil servants were interfered by politics.
25.40 percent also said that uncertain policies were caused by changes in supervisor level.
