Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Siam Park was recorded the world’s biggest artificial sea by Guinness Book.
Veerasak Kowsurat, chairman of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) board, said the world’s record built good reputation for Thailand and Thai people.
Siam Park will be one of the tourist attractions for tourists visiting Thailand.
TAT will present Siam Park at a road show in Dubai early in May. This is to persuade the Middle-East tourists to visit Thailand during July-August when the temperature there can be as high as 50 degrees celsius.
Middle East is an emerging market, and the size of the market is six times bigger than the European market.
Middle East travelers are potential customers and they often come as family groups.
Thailand’s Siam Park covers 13,600 square meters and can serve up to 13,000 customers.
Siam Park defeated Shanghai’s Dino Park which covers 6,053 square meters.
