Bangkok - MeetNLunch penetrated the dating business, targeting the single people group as there were more than 15 million single people in Thailand.
According to MeetNLunch, new-generation people dedicated themselves to work more and had less time for their private life.
The dating service thus served the demand of this group of people well, allowing people aged 26-35 years to meet their right ones.
The dating service tended to grow rapidly in Asia, especially in Singapore where its government supported people to have quality families.
In Singapore, single people aged 25-44 years spent more than 400 million US dollars annually to search for their right ones.
32% of men and 26% of women were still single after using professional services or going out for date.
It was estimated the dating service valued not less than 600 million baht per year, and would grow not less than 10-15% in next five years.
60% of MeetNLunch customers were women while 40% were men. More than half of male customers were foreigners working in Thailand.
