Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – More than 10,000 medical service centers nationwide were assigned to develop the quality of their services to please people the most.
Public Health Minister Vittaya Kaewparadai, said such policy covered hospitals, community hospitals, community medical centers, community health centers and public health centers.
About 70 percent or 6,701 medical service centers were guaranteed in terms of their quality of service, treatment, health promotion as well as public health service management.
The National Health Security Office surveyed 24,263 service users between June 18 and July 27, 2008.
88 percent were content with services of the public health units in all levels.
Public health ministry will speed up improving the quality of its remaining service centers within two years.
Services are currently limited by factors such as personnel, place and budget. However, all service centers are determined to take good care of people’s health.
