Bangkok (Manager Online) - The Central Land Transport Control Board announced fare cuts in all kinds of public buses to be the New Year’s gift for passengers.
Chaisak Angsuwan, board chairman, said this would benefit people who wanted to travel back home in provinces.
The fare of the white-blue bus will drop to 8 baht while the fare of BMTA bus to 7 baht and the fare of mini-bus to 6.50 baht respectively.
The air-conditioned bus fare will start at 11-19 baht whereas the Euro II air-conditioned bus fare at 12-24 baht.
The pickup truck or Songtaew fare will be reduced to 5.50 baht as well.
The Bor Khor Sor bus fare will fall 0.03 baht per kilometer. All price cuts will be effective since December 22 onwards.
