Bangkok - A caravan will be released at the end of this month to examine the safety of NGVs in several provinces, according to the energy ministry.
Department of energy business is going to launch the project to campaign for unity from the Mother’s Day to Father’s Day.
Free check will be provided for 1,160 NGVs in 12 provinces nationwide.
The caravan will be first released on November 29 in Nakhon Ratchasima.
The check service is to ensure the standard and safety of NGV use in public vehicles.
Vehicle check will also be available at bus terminals.
Service in the northeast and north covers areas like Nakhon Ratchasima, Khon Kaen, Chiang Mai and Lampang.
Other service areas include Nakhon Si Thammarat, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, Ayutthaya, Nakhon Prathom, Supanburi and Bangkok.
