Powerful winds, rain in north, Bangkok and east

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Powerful winds and rain can be expected in the north, central region, Bangkok and east as the medium high-pressure mass from China is still covering the upper Thailand.

People were told not to stay outdoors, under trees or advertising signs. It is recommended that communication devices should not be used during raining.

40 percent of rain will be in the north, and powerful winds can be seen in some areas such as Mae Hong Son, Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lampun, Lampang, Tak, Kamphaengphet and Phetchabun.

There will be 30 percent of rain in the northeast, particularly in Loei, Chaiyaphum, Khon Kaen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin and Ubon Ratchathani.

In the central region, 60 percent of rain can be expected. Powerful winds can be seen in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Supanburi and Ratchaburi. The highest temperatures will be 29-33 degrees celsius.

60 percent of rain will also be in the east whereas powerful winds can be seen in some areas such as Sakaew, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be 1-2 meters high.

There will be 30 percent of rain in the eastern south. Powerful winds can be seen in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn and Surat Thani. The highest temperatures will be 31-34 degrees celsius.

20 percent of rain will be in the western south, especially in Ranong, Phang Nga and Phuket. The highest temperatures will be 32-34 degrees celsius. Waves can be 1-2 meters high.

60 percent of rain will be in Bangkok and nearby provinces. Powerful winds can also be seen. The highest temperatures will be 33-34 degrees celsius.
