Heavy rain in south, over-two-meter waves

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Powerful southwest wind covering the Andaman Sea and Thailand results in rain, especially in the south, according to the Meteorological Department.

60 percent of rain will be in the north. Heavy rain can be seen in Mae Hong Son, Tak, Sukhothai, Phitsanulok, Kamphaengphet, Phichit and Phetchabun.

In the northeast, there will be 70 percent of rain, particularly in Mukdahan, Chaiyaphum, Amnajcharoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Buriram, Surin, Srisaket and Ubon Ratchathani. The highest temperatures will be 29-32 degrees celsius.

Heavy rain will be in the central region, in particular Kanchanaburi, Supanburi and Ratchaburi.

70 percent of rain will be in the east. Heavy rain can be expected in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. The highest temperatures will be 30-32 degrees celsius.

There will be 60 percent of rain in the eastern south, especially in Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Pattalung, Songkhla, Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat. Waves can be 1-2 meters high.

In the western south, 60 percent of rain can also be expected. Heavy rain will be Ranong, Phang Nga and Satun. The highest temperatures will be 32-34 degrees celsius. Wave can be two meters high or more.

70 percent of rain will be in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. Raining will be during afternoon and late in the evening. The highest temperatures will be 31-32 degrees celsius.
