Bangkok - The private sector wanted the government to end the political crisis soon. 30.4% urged the government to dissolve the parliament according to a poll.

University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce surveyed 820 respondents.

The political uncertainty was considered as the first priority (17.3%) for the government followed by delayed economy (15.9%) and oil prices (15.8%) respectively.

The business sector thought that the economic growth would be less than 4.5% this year if the political rally escalated for one-three months.

38.7% of the respondents wanted the government to negotiate to end the political deadlock soon while 30.4% called for parliament dissolution.

24% wanted the government to resign while 6.9% gave no comment.

It was reported the government planned to launch the economic stimulus measures at the end of the year.

The business sector believed the measures would be ineffective if the political situation was still uncertain.
