Bangkok - Thai Airways International still offers two flights a week from Bangkok to Phnom Penh, according to the company’s source.
Thai Airways president Apinand Sumanaserani revealed Thai Airways office in Phnom Penh still offered services as usual despite clashes between Thai and Cambodian soldiers yesterday.
It was reported Cambodia issued an ultimatum for Thai troops to leave the disputed area.
Thai officials said Cambodian soldiers first opened gunfire and Thai soldiers had to protect themselves.
TG 696 leaves Bangkok for Phnom Penh at 7:50 am while the return flight TG 697 leaves Phnom Penh for Bangkok at 10:05.
Another flight is TG 698 leaving Bangkok at 5:30 pm and the return flight is TG 699 leaving Phnom Penh at 7:45 pm.
The company is ready to serve passengers who want to fly back to Thailand if necessary.
