Bangkok - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) invited people in Bangkok to donate basic necessities and money to help the flood victims.

City Clerk Pongsak Semsant issued a statement to urge people to join the donation.

Donation can be made at the Bangkok City Hall, second city hall (Din Daeng) and fifty district offices.

Money can also be transferred to the KTB Kao San branch account number 027-0-04212-1.

The BMA will send the first lot of necessary stuff and donations to help the flood victims in Lopburi and Ayutthaya.

It is confident all donated stuff would really be given the afflicted victims.

About 1,000 flood victims in more than 30 communities in Bangkok would also be reached.

The level of water in Bangkok remained at 1.50 metres. BMA confirmed there would be no flooding in inner Bangkok.

District offices were assigned to prepare the pharmaceutical supplies for the afflicted people.
