Bangkok - Passengers who waited to board on the TG 1161 flight from Phitsanulok to Donmuang Airport were upset as they were told the flight was suspended.
The flight suspension was because the pilot temporarily stopped flying.
People Power Party (PPP)’s Phitsanulok MP was among the waiting passengers.
However, Thai Airways staff still carried on their duties at Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai and Mae Hongson Airport.
There was no leave taking in terms of other state enterprises in the north. Train services on the northern routes are available as usual.
Thai Air Asia, Thai Airways and Nok Air all had to suspend their services because of inconvenience.
Flights from Hat Yai to Bangkok were cancelled.
