Bangkok - People in the northern part of Thailand were warned of flash floods and mountain run-off in one-two days, according to the Meteorological Department.
The southwest monsoon covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand causes heavy rain in the upper part of Thailand and some areas.
People in Chiang Rai, Payao, Nan, Phrae, Uttaradit, Sukhothai, Phetchabun, Nongkhai and Nakhon Panom were warned of heavy rain which could lead to flash floods and mountain run-off.
70% of rain could be expected in the north. The lowest temperature is 23 degree Celsius while the highest temperature is 34 degree Celsius.
60% of rain could be expected in the northeastern provinces such as Nongbua Lumpu, Nongkhai, Nakhon Panom, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Ratchasima.
40% of rain could be expected in the central region. Raining possibly takes place in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Lopburi and Saraburi.
60% of rain could be expected in the eastern provinces like Prachinburi, Sakaew, Chanthaburi and Trad. One-two-metre waves could also be seen.
30% of rain could be expected in Phetchaburi, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla and Narathiwat while 20% of rain in Ranong and Trang.
60% of rain could be expected in Bangkok and surrounding provinces. The lowest temperature is 25 degree Celsius while the highest temperature is 34 degree Celsius.
