Bangkok - Ratchaburi Governor Mr. Wongsak Swasdipanich revealed that about 54.1 million baht of budget would be sought to develop the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market to be the world-class tourist attraction.
The budget plan was already proposed to the tourism and sports ministry.
The development will include Klong Lad Klee, Klong Ton Khem and Wat Prasartsith Floating Market.
The budget will be spent on canal digging, toilet construction and public relations.
The Damnoen Saduak Floating Market will open all day in the future. This is to give convenience to tourists and boost the tourism.
Damnoen Saduak Floating Market is in the Damnoen Saduak District, Ratchaburi province.
It is the best known destination where the Thai way of life can be observed along the canals.
