Bangkok - The former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra said he wanted Thai people to reconcile with each other to be his birthday’s gift.
The ex-preimer asked all parties to reduce their prejudices for the sake of the nation and their majesties.
He said he personally went to a temple to make merits to mark his birthday on July 26.
He added he wanted all the cases in court to be completed according to the laws.
The then-premier also said he wanted to do his business abroad and wash his hand of politics.
He urged those who did things against him out of spite to respect the rules and stop their actions.
Thaksin believed the controversial Preah Vihear temple would be settled if the government got a new foreign minister in next two days.
He confirmed he did not worry about the government’s status and would let things proceed in a democractic way.
