BANGKOK - NSF International has opened its new regional headquarters in Bangkok to oversee its operations throughout the Asia-Pacific region. The new office will be home to NSF's water and product certification division and the NSF-CMi food safety division.
The new office is to provide technical assistance, inspection and certification services to manufacturers and retailers in the Asia-Pacific region.
The move is the company’s strategic response to the region's fast growing needs of multi-national corporations and small and medium-sized enterprises to meet global regulatory requirements and best practices.
Koen Bontinck, NSF Vice President of International Operations, hopes this will enable the company to provide its global customers in this emerging market with faster, more cost-effective, regional solutions.
So far, export-related product certification has been the largest and fastest growing sector for NSF in this region of the world.
