BANGKOK - Two small bombs exploded late Sunday outside the office of a key leader of anti-government protests that have rumbled for three weeks.
The two men on a motorcycle threw explosives at Manager Media Group office building owned by Sondhi Limthongkul.
The bombs didn't make it over the wall surrounding the compound, and exploded on the sidewalk, according to AFP.
"These were small bombs not intended to injure or kill anyone," police Lieutenant Kittisak Chanthong said.
"The bombs were meant as a threat," he said, adding that they caused no injuries and only slight damage to the sidewalk in front of the building.
The blasts came after a fake bomb was found in front of the office earlier this month.
Sondhi is one of the leaders of the so-called People's Alliance for Democracy (PAD), which demands that Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej step down.
