Bangkok Health Fair 2008

Bangkok - The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) yesterday offered a free check-up service for Bangkokians at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC).

Bangkok Governor Apirak Kosayodhin presided over the opening ceremony of the Bangkok Health Fair 2008 on June 6.

Knowledge about how to take care of the health and disease prevention was presented at the fair.

The three-day health fair started on June 6 and ended on June 8.

Bangkokians currently have to work hard, rest and exercise less. They face the pollution and stress which can lead to diseases such as stress, heart disease, obesity and allergy.

The event was to help people prevent and recover from possible illness.

All participants got the Health Passports to record their health backgrounds.

They could also go for 2,000-baht check-up package at leading hospitals in Bangkok.
