Bangkok, THAILAND - Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej yesterday met with US Secretary of Defence Robert Gates at the Defence Ministry in Bangkok.
Gates arrived in Bangkok for talks with Samak concerning Myanmar’s cyclone victims.
He expressed his concern that more people will die in Myanmar unless the junta government lifts restrictions on foreign aid.
