Bangkok - CPF on Wednesday offered more than 10 million baht of subsidy to help the Nargis victims in Myanmar.
Burmese Ambassador to Thailand Ye Win received the financial support from Mr. Pong Visedpaitoon, CPF chief operating officer, and Mr. Natthakrit Sivasri, Myanmar CP Livestock Co’s vice chairman, to help the cyclone victims.
Mr. Pong said he felt very sorry to hear that Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar hard and his company first gave help to it on Tuesday.
Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar on last Friday, massively damaging the central part of Myanmar.
Previously, Myanmar CP Livestock Co already gave two-million-baht support to the Burmese government.
CPF has invested in Myanmar for nearly ten years so far.
It is CP Group chairman Dhanin Chearavanont’s commitment to give help to the company’s business partners in each country.
