Bangkok - The ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra plans to see a big change next month when joining hands with foreign investors to take control of the nation’s resources.

A group of people is trying to make June the month of change to imitate when a political change once took place on June 24, 1932.

Ekkayuth Anchanbutr, chairman of the UK-based Oriental Mart Group and the owner of the www.thai-insider.com, said on his website Thaksin had a close relationship with the Dubai World Group which he brought to invest in Thailand.

It was said Thaksin bought the land in Dubai and the sea was filled in the shape of Thailand’s map.

Ekkayuth disclosed Thaksin who appeared to bring in foreign investors tried to sell whatever he could.

Though Thaksin confirmed he washed his hand of the politics, he still set conditions leading to violence.

However, Thaksin’s dream may not become true easily.

Pinyo Pongcharoen, president of the International Astrology Association, said people would join the street protests more.

The situation will become intense from June 21 to August 9.

A significant political change will also take place during that time, and clashes are inevitable.
