Bangkok - The International Herald Tribune presented news that the People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) protested against the government in Bangkok.
The Paris-based IHT reported eighteen people were injured during the yesterday’s protest.
Thousands of demonstrators wanted to evict the current government led by Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej.
The government has been elected for only three months so far.
Clashes broke out between the PAD and pro-government group before the riot police dispersed them.
The PAD viewed Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej represented the ex-premier Thaksin who was ousted in the military coup in September 2006.
The PAD also accused Samak of trying to amend the constitution to protect Thaksin from all allegations.
