Bangkok - The International organizations are still waiting for the Burmese government’s answer to approach Burmese people to distribute necessary stuff to them.

But, the Burmese government turned down the UN and US requests to enter its country to offer the humanitarian assistance.

The US Air Force will wait for the Burmese government’s permission at Thailand’s airport and is ready to give further help as soon as the junta government allows it to.

Myanmar TV broadcast a meeting chaired by Gen Thein Sein to discuss the natural disaster situation.

However, the UN World Food Programme suddenly cancelled its plan to offer food supplies and help to Myanmar yesterday.

It was reported 22,000 people died and 42,000 are still missing while a source expected the death toll could reach 100,000.

Without help reaching the Nargis victims directly, it is the monks who deal with corpses and distribute basic necessities to the victims.
