Bangkok - Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej will treat his VIP guest at his residence at Soi Navaminr 81 today.
Arriving at the Government House with a smiling face, Samak told the reporters this morning that he would cook the dinner for Burmese PM Gen Thein Sein himself.
However, Samak did not disclose what dishes he would present to his Burmese counterpart.
"It's secret and Myanmar's government has told me what kind of food Thein Sein doesn't eat," Samak told reporters at Government House before chairing a weekly cabinet meeting.
"I went to buy stuff yesterday morning," he said.
Being a famous gourmet, he was often seen in a cooking program on TV before taking the prime minister post.
Gen Thein Sein is scheduled to officially visit Thailand during April 29-May 1.
He will arrive in Thailand this afternoon together with the foreign, interior, national economic planning, transport, labour and construction ministers.
