Bangkok - Transport Co Ltd’s management agreed to postpone the fare hike to the beginning of May, saying this would be a gift for Thai people. Online booking service is now available.
Mr. Wuttichart Kalayanamitr, Transport Co Ltd’s president, revealed that the fare freezing has started since the Valentine Festival and would continue until April 30.
Transport Minister Mr. Santi Promphat assigned the company to put off the fare hike to help relieve people’s burden.
Transport Co Ltd has introduced its online booking service to give convenience to its customers.
Online bookings can be made through www.transport.co.th and www..adtechs.co.th.
The service is also available at 50 Blisstel@shop and Mobile Easy outlets, covering twenty bus terminals.
Tickets can be booked sixty days in advance. The extra charge of 18 baht per ticket will be applied.
20 million service users are targeted in the first phase.
