Sriracha news center - People in the eastern region have continuously bought the ASTV satellite dishes, expressing concerns over signals cut in the future.
People have gradually come to the Manager Daily newspaper’s office in Chonburi to buy ASTV satellite dishes.
Mr. Kowit Mangkang, 72, said he had to come to buy a satellite dish for fear the government would cut its signals in the future. ASTV is now broadcast via local cable TV.
Lot of people from Pattaya, Chonburi, Rayong and Chanthaburi went to buy the satellite dishes last month.
Some people even had to Bangkok head office to buy ASTV dishes.
Mr. Boonkua Theerakritayakorn, 49-year-old customer, said ASTV presented a more reliable information than other public TV channels.
Another customer said the transfer of DSI director general Sunai Manomai-udom and police chief Pol Gen Sereepisuth Taemeeyaves signalled irregularities in the administration of this government.
ASTV signals are now not available from time to time via local cable TV.
