Bangkok - Ai Haruna of Japan defeated the rivals to become Miss International Queen 2009. Kangsadal Wongdusadeekul of Thailand and Daniela Marques of Brazil came in the second and third place as expected.
Miss International Queen 2009 beauty pageant was held in Pattaya on October 31. The event has taken place for the fifth year. 18 transsexual beauty queens from 11 countries worldwide were encamped in Pattaya to boost Thailand's tourism.
Daniela Marques of Brazil won the second runner-up title as expected.
First runner-up Kangsadal Wongdusadeekul of Thailand was defeated by Ai Haruna of Japan. Kangsadal was the Miss Tiffany Universe 2008.
