Heavy rain in northeast, high waves in south

Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Rain and heavy rain will be seen in some areas as the powerful southwest wind is covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand.

Cyclone Aila from Bangladesh is becoming a depression. Fishermen were warned of navigation in the Andaman Sea during these 1-2 days.

60 percent of rain will be in the north, particularly in Mae Hong Son, Chiang Mai, Tak and Kamphaengphet. The highest temperatures will be 34-35 degrees celsius.

In the northeast, heavy rain will be in Amnajcharoen, Nakhon Ratchasima, Surin, Srisaket and Ubon Ratchathani.

There will be 60 percent in the central region, especially in Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani and Kanchanaburi. The highest temperatures will be 35-36 degrees celsius.

In the east, heavy rain can be expected in some areas such as Prachinburi, Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.

40 percent of rain will be in the eastern south, in particular Phetchaburi, Prachup Khiri Khan and Chumporn. The highest temperatures will be 34-36 degrees celsius.

20 percent of rain will be in the western south, particularly in Ranong and Satun. Waves will be approximately two meters high.

60 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. The highest temperatures will be 32-36 degrees celsius.
