Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Powerful southwest wind which is covering the Andaman Sea and the Gulf of Thailand will lead to heavy rain in some areas, according to the Meteorological Department.
Flash flood, mountain run-off as well as flooding may happen in Loei, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trad, Ranong and Phang Nga.
In the north, heavy rain will be in Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai, Lampun, Lampang, nan, Payao, Phrae and Uttradit. The highest temperatures will be 34-35 degrees celsius.
70 percent of rain will be in the northeast. Heavy rain can be seen in Loei, Nongkhai, Nongbualumpoo, Udon Thani, Sakon Nakhon and Nakhon Panom.
There will be 60 percent of rain in the central region, particularly in Uthai Thani, Kanchanaburi, Supanburi and Ratchaburi. The highest temperatures will be 34-35 degrees celsius.
70 percent of rain can be expected in the east. Heavy rain will be in Chonburi, Prachinburi, Sakaew, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad. Waves can be as high as 1-2 meters.
In the eastern south, 60 percent of rain will be in some areas, especially in Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumporn and Nakhon Si Thammarat.
70 percent of rain will be in the western south. Heavy rain can be seen in Ranong, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. Waves can be about two meters high.
60 percent of rain can be expected in Bangkok and nearby provinces. The highest temperatures will be 32-34 degrees celsius.
