Bangkok (ASTV Manager Online) – Mor Chit terminal and Sanam Luang topped the list of risk places in Bangkok, according to the Mirror Foundation.
Mor Chit terminal is the biggest and favorite place for the human trafficking ring.
Sanam Luang is the second favorite choice. People would be persuaded to work with the human traffickers. Drugs were put in food, and physical violence was used to get the target people.
Rommaneenart Park or Corrections Museum Park is a new place. It is opposite the Bangkok City Hall.
Next is Hua Lampong railway station. There is a big trafficking ring here since the area is quite large and there are not sufficient officials to crack down the culprits.
The last popular place is Wong Wian Yai. Traffickers will disguise into placement companies to lure the victims.
Mirror Foundation is formerly known as Mirror Art Group. It is based in Chiang Rai.
Founded in 1991, the foundation aims to help hilltribe people with issues such as citizenship, drug abuse, as well as women and children trafficking.
