Bangkok - Prime Minister Somchai Wongsawat revealed that he made the cabinet list himself without consulting his brother-in-law and former premier Thaksin Shinawatra.
"There has been a lot progress... the full (cabinet) list will be ready and submitted to the king in two to three days," he told reporters.
It was previously reported the cabinet list was brought to Thaksin in London.
Somchai confirmed Thaksin did not give suggestions about selecting the new government, planning to submit the cabinet line-up to HM King Bhumibol Adulyadej for approval in a few days.
"I am the Prime Minister -- I make my own cabinet list. Thaksin has nothing to do with it or any involvement," he said.
It was said the People Power Party (PPP) had internal conflicts because the cabinet quota was not agreed by Newin’s friend group.
The People’s Alliance for Democracy (PAD) protestors still occupy the Government House, waiting to see how Somchai government would deal with Thaksin and other politicians who involve in corruption charges.
PAD viewed Somchai would try to maintain Thaksin’s benefits and help him escape all accusations.
