Bangkok - Tourism and Sports Minister Veerasak Kowsurat aimed to discuss with the Airports of Thailand (AOT), Immigration Department and Treasury Department to use part of the Don Muang Airport to launch the Private Jet Terminal project.
Thailand Privilege Card Co Ltd (TPC) was assigned to conduct a feasibility study on the project.
Limousines will be provided to serve foreign tourists who travel by jet under the “Private Jet Terminal” scheme.
The luggage service as well as service to facilitate the immigration procedures will also be available.
Service also covers coordination with hospitals which some tourists need to contact to undergo medical treatments.
30 million baht would be set aside for this project. It was expected the project would increase 50% of tourists flying on jets.
Veerasak said the project would be pushed to take shape soon.
