Bangkok - Greenpeace activists and the crew of Rainbow Warrior protested against Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT)’s coal-fired plant construction in Prachuap Kiri Khan province.
Hundreds of Thapsakae residents also joined the protests.
Egat proposed to build a 4000 MW coal-fired power plant in Thapsakae while people are opposing it due to concerns over pollution and climate change.
