Bangkok - People rushed to fill their tanks in Nakon Sawan province. Six LPG stations there were crowded with people and the service was expected not to be available this afternoon.

Thai people turn to the alternative fuel choices like LPG and natural gas as the energy prices keep going up. LPG is more popular among car users than the natural gas.

There are about nine LPG stations and two NGV stations in Chiang Mai province.

Service providers said there were sufficient LPG to serve the demand and there would be no shortage.

LPG users thought LPG would still be an acceptable choice even though its price was floated. LPG price is cheaper than oil prices.

It was reported LPG hoarding started on June 28 as many LPG stations stopped providing their services.
