Bangkok - Miss Thailand 2008 Gavintra Photijak will represent Thailand at the Miss Universe contest in Ho Chi Minh City.
Gavintra arrived at the New World hotel on June 17.
The 57th annual Miss Universe beauty pageant is scheduled to take place in the central coast city of Nha Trang on July 14, 2008.
More than 80 candidates has come to join the competition. The final will be held at the Crown Convention Center.
