Bangkok - 30 Thai medical doctors have traveled to the relief centers to help more than 1,000 Cyclone Nargis survivors for the fifth day.

Though some doctors catch a cold due to raining and weather change, they all have provided the medical services continuously.
Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar’s central region on May 2, leaving more than 100,000 people dead and missing.
Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Bansarn Bunnag said the Burmese government handled damages caused by the cyclone systematicly.
Mrs. Siriporn Kanchana, deputy permanent secretary for public health, said Burmese survivors wanted sources of clean water for consumption. They also wanted to go back to their places though those places were severely damaged by the cyclone.
So far, HM King Bhumibol as well as the royal family members have continuously offered help including the pharmaceutical, food and other necessary supplies to the cyclone survivors.
Thailand’s medical doctors are among the few foreign aid workers allowed to enter the cyclone-hit Myanmar.
