Tokyo, JAPAN - Suwit Khunkitti, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry of Thailand, delivers a speech during the 14th International conference on The Future of Asia in Tokyo.
Mr. Suwit proposed Asian countries should consider establishing a network of standby arrangements for disaster relief operations to cope with natural disasters which are similar to those happening in Myanmar and China.
He said that Asia should seek to do more in addressing global problems like naturla disasters, global energy and food security.
