Bangkok - The eastern part of Thailand will face high waves during May 17-19, according to the Meteorological Department (MD).
Travellers in Chonburi, Rayong, Chanthaburi and Trad province should be careful about taking boats to their tourist destinations.
Small boats should not go offshore during May 16-17.
The low-pressure mass from Myanmar seems not to affect Thailand much.
The monsoon channel still passes the upper central region. As a result, the amount of rain in Bangkok will not drop much.
As for the earthquake, the equipment was installed at 40 stations to measure the earthquake.
The department will coordinate with the National Disaster Warning Center, Department of Mineral Resources and Department of Prevention and Relief of Public Disasters to announce disaster warnings in advance.
