Bangkok - The Bangkok International Food Festival 2008 ended on April 27. More than 100 shops join to present their yummy dishes.
The food event took place on April 23.
Mr. Putthipong Punnakan, Deputy Bangkok Governor, revealed the event was held by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) to promote tourism in Bangkok.
More than 100 famous restaurants and hotels in Bangkok joined to present their tasty Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian,Vietnamese, French and Italian dishes as well as desserts and drinks at special prices.
Being the capital and largest city of Thailand, Bangkok is located on both sides of the Chao Phraya River.
Bangkok is the 22nd most populus city in the world.
