Bangkok - Thailand Post Co Ltd sets aside 50 million baht to modernize its 100 branches. Service hours are extended for Bangkok branches.
Thailand Post Co Ltd’s president Mr. Ormsin Chivapruk said modern and quality services would be focused.
Last year, the company spent about 20 million baht on renovations to provide its customers modern and one-stop service.
61 branches have undergone renovations since 2005.
Thailand Post will renovate its 100 branches this year at the total budget of 50 million baht.
Its service hours are extended at about 300 branches. The closing hour was changed from 5 to 8 pm.
However, extended service hours are only available for Bangkok branches. The company plans make it cover branches nationwide.
The 2007 revenue reached about 16 billion baht while its net profit was 1,200 million baht which was higher than targeted.
