Bangkok - Politicians are at health risk due to the nature of their job. They are also under stress and have too little rest which will lead to various kinds of sickness.
The top five diseases which can happen to politicians are stroke, coronary artery disease, thrombotic stroke, flu and food poisoning.
Previously, Commerce Minister Mingkwan Saengsuwan fainted before giving his speech at the Post Forum ‘08.
It was said that was caused by either stress or too little rest.
The Public Health Ministry already provided a check-up service for Thai politicians to ensure all politicians are in a good health.
