หลังจากปล่อยให้เมือกหอยทากจากเกาหลีครองตลาดความงามมาระยะหนึ่ง “ศ.ดร.สมศักด์ ปัญหา” ในฐานะผู้เชี่ยวชาญหอยอันดับหนึ่งของเมืองไทยจึงยอมไม่ได้ที่ไทยจะตกเป็นรอง จากความรู้เรื่องหอยที่สะสมมานานกว่า 30 ปีวันนี้เขาตอบสังคมได้อย่างเต็มปากว่างานวิจัยพื้นฐานของเขานั้นนำไปสร้างประโยชน์ที่จับต้องได้อย่างไร ในฐานะหุ้นส่วนบริษัทความงามที่มีทั้ง “ฟาร์มหอย” และผลิตภัณฑ์จากเมือกหอย
