BOGOTA (AFP) - A Canadian and a Brazilian were missing Monday after their Canadian-registered twin engine aircraft crashed in a mountainous area of northern Colombia, authorities said.
Colombia's civil aviation agency said the aircraft had been located near the town of Coromoro, in Santander department, but searchers had not yet reached the crash site.
It identified the plane's occupants as Canadian Peter Moor and Brazilian national Nernyr Franci Iberia.
They had taken off in their aircraft Saturday morning from Bucaramanga, the capital of Santander, on an "aerial geophysics" mission, the civil aviation agency said.
