MADRID (AFP) - Spanish golf legend Severiano Ballesteros, who underwent surgery for a brain tumour three years ago, died early Saturday at his home in northern Spain, Spanish public television reported.
Ballesteros earlier announced his retirement after a 33-year long professional career at the136th Open Golf Championship.
