Bangkok (AFP) - Models paraded to present fashion designs by various designers during the Belin fashion week in Berlin.
The fashion week included design works from Belgian designer label A.F. Vandevorst, Lever Couture and Austrian designer label Lena Hoschek.
Berlin fashion show started on January 19 and ended on January 22, 2011. Twenty fives designer joined to present their collections.
A big crowd of fashion enthusiasts was expected to attend this famous fashion week. The show kicked off with Belgian husband-wife team Filip Arickx and An Vandevorst's 2011 fall collection (as cited at http://www.zootonline.com).
The highlight was supermodel Karolina Kurkova by the new Mercedes-Benz CLS, styled by Marie-Am?lie Sauv?.
Three Swedish female designers: Camilla Norrback, Diana Orving and Ida Sj?stedt also got people's attention. In addition, off-catwalk events covered a screening of films, a lecture on Swedish fashion history and current trends, as well as a fashion photography exhibition by Camilla Akrans (as cited at http://www.zootonline.com).
Other highlights were Peter Ingwersen's Black Noir's collection and polish Dawid Tomaszewski's superb designs.
